The final Interim Committee Week before session was a productive one for your Union. Members of the
Legislative Committee were in Tallahassee lobbying on behalf of the membership for our Priority Bills
On the House side, HB 269 will be seeking committee approvals, as it’s heard before the Commerce
Committee and the Insurance and Banking Subcommittee. Numerous meetings were scheduled and heard
over the week between your FOP and representatives on both committees.
HB 269, introduced by Rep Black and co-sponsored by Rep Chambliss, revises some language applying to
