HB 751 Moves Forward with Strong FOP Support
Representative Judson Sapp continues to champion HB 751, working closely with the Fraternal Order of
Police to advance this critical legislation. His efforts are paying off—HB 751 has passed the House Budget
Committee and is now just one step away from ensuring that officers and their families receive health
insurance coverage if they are catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
The bill now heads to the House State Affairs Committee, chaired by Representative Will Robinson, with
the next hearing scheduled for April 17, 2025, at 8:30 AM.
